It is only possible to have 9 weeks with 6 teams playing, this leaves one team playing on the 10th week to complete the 55 pairs.

(B D) (C E) (A H)
(A B) (D G) (C F)
(C D) (E H) (B G)
(A E) (B C) (D F)
(C G) (E F) (B H)
(A F) (G H) (D E)
(D H) (B F) (A C)
(C H) (A D) (E G)
(B E) (A G) (F H)
(F G) (---) (---)

This will help a lot. We plan to play for 13 weeks or 13 rounds with not everyone playing each other twice. If you can complete the schedule for 13 rounds with 6 teams playing each week and 2 teams out that would be great. Thanks for helping me.  Doug :)

Here is a new schedule for 13 rounds.

(F C) (H D) (E G)
(A G) (D B) (F H)
(D E) (H C) (F B)
(A B) (H E) (G D)
(C B) (H A) (F E)
(F D) (A E) (C G)
(H G) (F B) (A D)
(E B) (F G) (A C)
(C E) (D G) (H B)
(B G) (F A) (D C)
(F G) (C B) (H E)
(H D) (E C) (B A)
(H A) (G E) (F C)

As you mention, not everyone will play each other twice, but note that as you don't have a multiple of 4 rounds, then the number of games is also unbalanced - above players A and D have one less game than all the others.

Ian.

Thanks for sending. Not an easy formula with uneven weeks of play but this will get our round robin organized. Great :) site. Doug
