hi all,
have to schedule a 16 players mixed with different partners rr.
having 16 different players, I can arrange 120 different couples
from these couples, I need to set up 15 weeks under the following conditions
1. every week there are 4 matches involving the 16 players
2. every player plays with (in same couple) with all other players just once
3. every player plays against any other player a maximum of 3 times
can this type of scheduling be programmed?

It is possible to do better and have all possible opponents exactly 2 times. Follow the schedules link near the top of this page and bring up a 'Whist' schedule for 16 items. Notice that you only need to store the first week of each schedule as the following weeks can be easily generated from it.
