Title: 6 players in 2 groups over 4 games

I am organising a 4 day golf competition with 6 players, playing in 2 x 3s.  I want to make sure that each player plays with every other player at least once, but minimise how many times they play together.

There is no good solution to this scheduling problem.  The only possibility is:

123  456
124  356
125  346
126  345

however 1 & 2 always play together.  If mixed pairs and threesomes are possible, then there is:

123    456
14   26   35
25   34   16
36   15   24

I am sure there is a better solution to this  ?     :-/
