Title: 12 person rotating partners each player gets 7 or 8 matches

I am setting up a 12 person rotating doubles round robin, but I am not sure there will be time to use the full balanced 12 person schedule. Is there a way to get everyone playing with a different partner and playing everyone else either 1 or 2 times and each player getting 7 or 8 games?

I believe that the following schedule for 7 games will do what you want.

  (12  5 v  6 11) ( 1  4 v  8 10) ( 2  3 v  7  9)
  ( 7 10 v 11 12) ( 4  5 v  9  3) ( 1  8 v  2  6)
  ( 3  6 v  4 10) ( 9  8 v  7 11) (12  2 v  1  5)
  ( 4  2 v  5  7) (12 10 v  8  3) ( 6  1 v  9 11)
  ( 7  3 v  6  8) ( 1 10 v  5  9) (11  2 v  4 12)
  ( 6 10 v  2  9) ( 3  5 v 11  8) (12  1 v  4  7)
  (11  3 v  1  2) ( 8 12 v  9  4) ( 7  6 v 10  5)
