I have 24 entrants for a doubles round robin and would like a format where each person plays everyone once.  I have 3 courts. I am worried that his may take may hrs. Even if I limit play to 10 min. Thanks...

Click on the 'Schedules' link near the top of this page and then bring up the whist schedule for 24 players.   You could use this, splitting each round into two mini rounds of 3 games.  That would give you 46 rounds where everyone partners once and opposes twice.  Is that too long?

Or perhaps you could use this schedule (again split each round of 6 games into 2).

(23 2 3 7) (16 6 17 9) (12 10 24 8) (18 21 15 13) (11 22 20 5) (1 4 19 14)
(24 3 4 8) (17 7 18 10) (1 11 13 9) (19 22 16 14) (12 23 21 6) (2 5 20 15)
(13 4 5 9) (18 8 19 11) (2 12 14 10) (20 23 17 15) (1 24 22 7) (3 6 21 16)
(14 5 6 10) (19 9 20 12) (3 1 15 11) (21 24 18 16) (2 13 23 8) (4 7 22 17)
(15 6 7 11) (20 10 21 1) (4 2 16 12) (22 13 19 17) (3 14 24 9) (5 8 23 18)
(16 7 8 12) (21 11 22 2) (5 3 17 1) (23 14 20 18) (4 15 13 10) (6 9 24 19)
(17 8 9 1) (22 12 23 3) (6 4 18 2) (24 15 21 19) (5 16 14 11) (7 10 13 20)
(18 9 10 2) (23 1 24 4) (7 5 19 3) (13 16 22 20) (6 17 15 12) (8 11 14 21)
(19 10 11 3) (24 2 13 5) (8 6 20 4) (14 17 23 21) (7 18 16 1) (9 12 15 22)
(20 11 12 4) (13 3 14 6) (9 7 21 5) (15 18 24 22) (8 19 17 2) (10 1 16 23)
(21 12 1 5) (14 4 15 7) (10 8 22 6) (16 19 13 23) (9 20 18 3) (11 2 17 24)
(22 1 2 6) (15 5 16 8) (11 9 23 7) (17 20 14 24) (10 21 19 4) (12 3 18 13)

Above everyone opposes at least once.  Each player has one other who they oppose twice.

If a game above is (a b c d) it should be played as (ab vs cd)

Too long. For ten min rounds that would take over 7 hrs,

Is there a way for each player to pair once with each player and oppose each player once? Also, I would like to try and finish in less than 5 hrs. Thnk...suzi

There is no way to do that, every game you play in, there will always be two opponents but only one partner.  The shorter schedule above is the closest you can get to having each opponent once.
