Hi,
Hopefully you will be able to help....here is the scenario we want to run a 21 team, 3 way round robin over 10 games where every team plays each other once and with a balanced spread across 7pairs of lanes ie 14 lanes total. So for example teams 1, 2, 3 will play on lanes 1 and 2, teams 3,4,5 play on 3,4 teams 5,6,7 on 5,6. So each game each team has 2 opponents thus after 10 games having played their 20 opponents once each. 10 games and seven pairs of lanes so each team needs to play on each pair once and no pair more than twice. Good luck and thanks

Hi,

Please have a look at this schedule for 21 golfers labelled A to U.  This could form the basic schedule for your scenario - there will not be perfect balance for the pairs of lanes, and you may be able to improve the balance by rearranging the order of the seven triples in each row.

Hope that helps.
