My problem is that our PEO bridge marathon has an odd number of teams signed up. To the best of my knowledge this is the first year we've faced this. They play 8 times over the summer through April with a scheduled rotation. In May they all come together and play on the same day as the final time of the marathon with prizes awarded etc. We have 15 teams. Each person donates X number of dollars to play which is part of the prize money and the rest goes to PEO projects. My answer to an odd number of teams would be to have the odd team play 8 teams I draw randomly; however this means 8 teams play once more than their usual time and how do I score that- equitably? IF you have a program that could scramble these teams so they all play the same number of times I would be very grateful to either acquire that or have you print it out for our teams.
